Hello, my name is Ms. Armani Ruffin. I am originally from Chesapeake Virginia but was raised in Brooklyn,New York when I was 5 years old. I am a Gemini. My birthday is June 4th. I am a current junior at Morgan State University right now, majoring in Elementary Education. Since I was a little girl, I used to say I wanted to be either a doctor or a teacher. As high school ended and I had to be real with myself, I thought back to what is deep in my heart, and I went with elementary education. I love kids, kids are a gift from God and are so sweet and I thought this is what I would like to do for the rest of my life. In middle school I had this teacher that I would never forget about, Ms. Benjamin. She was my school mother, she was so sweet to me always, assisted me with whatever was in the world. Sometimes I would come to school with my hair Messed up and I never knew how to fix it, and she would always take time out of her breaks, time that she is teaching to help me with my hair. Down to the little things like that inspired me to want to be there for kids how Ms. Benjamin was for me. Everybody needs a Ms. Benjamin and that's why Ms. Ruffin is striving and going hard for what she wants. I have twin little brothers who I love dearly and as I watch them go and guide them, I just feel so good inside seeing them flourish into the men they are. I would love to be there as a guardian, as a teacher in somebody else's life and watching them grow its an honoring job and I feel like this is a great field.
