Reflection of article. Education 3.0 & 4.0

While reading these articles I have understood now how much education and the teaching of it has changed significantly over time. While reading the articles experts have broken down the various kinds of ways of learning. Education 3.0 is the shift from regular traditional way of learning to a more diverse way of learning like teacher to student, student to student, student to teacher, and then people to technology to people according to experts. While education 4.0 is the future of learning, introducing technology into classrooms, students, and teachers. I would say this is a way to give the students more leeway while learning and giving the teacher time to better understand how to better assist the student in their classroom. When I think back to how I was taught and how I am currently being taught, I would say education 4.0 has its good and bads. When teaching older kids, I can see this as a benefit to them because it gives the children the chance to learn and figure things out on their own using the technology that they have access to. It could be bad at the same time too because depending on the leniency the child could not be learning truthfully and be using that technology that is given to them to do the work for them due to things like AI (Artificial Intelligence). Personally, as someone who is looking to be a future elementary educator, I do not see myself using technology in my classrooms unless necessary like for example Covid-19. When Covid-19 came it was essential that technology was implemented because that was the only way for teachers to teach. I see technology as a distraction and an easy way out for everybody. I want to speak verbally and using memorization and demonstration is the best way to instruct children, especially while teaching elementary students. Of course, by using technology to present the course work but individually using technology would have to grow on me over time as an educator. While entering middle school, that is when I experienced technology in my educational life, it was fun in the beginning but then it became a privilege in school because we used to take advantage of the laptops. I liked these articles because they give a breakdown of ways you can teach, and depending on your preference you can teach like such. This has helped me realize there is more than one way to teach and maybe as I learn more about teaching ways my opinion on how I decide to teach in the future may change.
